Burns (born in Buncombe County, NC abt 1794 – living in Bradley County in 1860 – died Whitfield County, GA 1868) and Elizabeth Raper (born abt 1801 probably Blount County, TN – died Whitfield County, GA)<\/p>\n Elizabeth was the daughter of Jacob Raper, Sr.( born abt 1747 in Yorkshire, England – died abt 1840 in Bradley County TN) and Elizabeth Gray ( born abt 1750 in Guliford County, NC – died in Bradley County, TN )<\/p>\n George M. Burns and Elizabeth Raper were married in Blount County TN 14 Feb 1818.<\/p>\n Children of Robert A. Carson and Rutha Jane Burns:<\/p>\n Emmett M. Carson – 6 Sept 1858 -12 Dec 1888 George Wyatt Carson married Eula Neal Wood, of Cleveland, Bradley County, TN – 11 Jan 1893 . They moved to Columbus, Lowndes County, MS where he was employed with C.& G.(Columbus & Greenville) Railroad as a locomotive engineer. They had 6 children:<\/p>\n Grace Ruth Carson Robinson – 29 July 1894 – 5 June 1987 Eula Neal Wood was the daughter of Benjamin Stewart Wood and Nancy Jane Hawk of Bradley County, TN.<\/p>\n Benjamin was the son of John Clark Wood, Sr and Mary (Polly) Wooten.Married 7 Nov 1821 in Jefferson County, TN and moving to Bradley County abt 1837.<\/p>\n John was the son of Wiley Wood and Jane Clark<\/p>\n Mary was the daughter of Turner Wooten and Nacy Roper of Chesterfield County, VA and Jefferson County, TN<\/p>\n Nancy Jane Hawk was the daughter of William H.
