He was the son of Leonard Nelson Tinsley, born December 6, 1829 in South Carolina and Nancy Jane May, born May 20, 1832 in Tennessee. Nelson Alexander Tinsley married Mary Elizabeth Berry November 12, 1874 in Murray County, Georgia.<\/p>\n<p>Their children were:<br \/>\nMattie, Born May 9, 1880<br \/>\nWalter Nelson Tinsley<br \/>\nCleo Tinsley<br \/>\nMary ( Mollie ) Tinsley, Born March 18, 1886<br \/>\nNora Tinsley, Born December 9, 1888<br \/>\nMartin Luther Tinsley, Born 1894<br \/>\nRepsey Lafon Tinsley, Sr, Born March 13 1897<\/p>\n<p>Sometime after his marriage to Mary Elizabeth Berry, Nelson Alexander Tinsley and his family went to Cleveland, Tennessee, (Bradley County) to live.<\/p>\n<p>I have been trying for a long time to find the parents of Leonard Nelson Tinsley, so far I haven&#8217;t had any luck.
