Preface<\/h4>\n

In presenting this little pamphlet or neighborhood sketch to my neighbors, I have endeavored to give a little sketch of all the first settlers and of all who live here at present. It may be that I have omitted some, unintentionally, as my means of gathering information has been conversing with my neighbors and by depending alone upon memory of what they said.<\/p>\n

All that the neighbors have told me, is used without quotation marks, but acknowledging my thanks to you all, I am<\/p>\n
