When they left, one son was too sick to make the Trail, so he was left behind with the Sims family. Charlie later married Lizzie Kitchen also from Tennessee, and remained in Oklahoma till she died. Charlie had 11 children, one of which is my grandmother Nellie Claire Johnson who spoke Cherokee. I have not been able to find any information on the families other then verbal.
