I have descendant of William Melton ADAMS and George Wright ADAMS.

Seek info on SWINDLE, George, on Benton Co. TN 1850 census as Head of Household, wife Elizabeth (ANDERSON), children: John 9, Asa 7, Martha 1. They had two more children Mary and Robert between 1850 and 1870. Green County Arkansas 1870 census lists Martha 21, Mary 18, Robert 11 living with their uncle Joseph (Joel) ANDERSON.

I am researching my family. I have a William Henry KIRK, that was born in Tenn. in the early 1800's. I know that he later moved to MS where his four sons were born: Henry KIRK, John KIRK, William Henry KIRK (wife's first name was Martha ?), William Douglas KIRK, my g-g-- grandfather, married Amanda Ann HUDSON. Looking for information on the death of my Great Grandfather. His name was General Lewis HENSLEY, and he was in the 1900 census of Benton Co. In the 1910 census, he was in Humphreys Co. It is rumored that he died of Pneumonia in December of 1912. However, I have been unable to find any record of his death, or where he is buried. He was married to Zana Bell MILLER at the time of his death. I would appreciate some help from anyone on this, and would share information Thanks.

Looking for parents of Enoch Deason RUSHING bn 1820/21 in Bedford Co, TN. Moved to Fayette/Tuscaloosa Co, Alabama about 1850 or before. He is not to be confused with the Enoch Deason RUSHING who rec'd mail at Unionville, NC in 1837, nor the Enoch Deason RUSHING, son of David, who moved to Illinois. This Enoch DEASON was in Alabama in 1852 and married 1853/54. He lived and died in Fayette/Tuscaloosa Co. Alabama. He served in the Conf. Army in 1864. He joined the army in Fayette, AL. I think he must be related the the Enoch DEASON from NC who had 3 daughters who married the RUSHING brothers: John, Joseph and David.

I need the father of William O'bryant CLAYTON who married Mary (Polly) HEGGIE in Macon Co, NC & moved to Benton Co, TN before 1850. I suspect Soloman CLAYTON as his father b.c. 1800 married to Susanah EVANS? Can't prove this, but appreciate any info. Also researching the families from Benton Co,TN: HARGIS, BREWER, ALSUP, FORREST, FLOYD, CHERRY, GRAHAM, BUCHANON, CHANDLER and HEGGIE. Thanks Lori
