The Clerk of this Court presented a settlement Made with John Hignite Administrator of the estate of Peter Hignite, deceased which said settlement was examined and approved by the Court and ordered to be recorded.
On Motion it is ordered by the Court that George W. Farmer, Esqr. set as one of the quorum, J.W. Davidson the regular member being absent.
The Clerk of this Court presented a settlement Made with Anderson Las Lashlee Administrator of the estate of J.L. Williams deceased which said settlement was examined and approved by the Court and ordered to be recorded.
Personally appeared in open Court John Wynn who was this day appointed guardian of Francis M. Pully Minor heir of Thomas W. Pully and together with him John D. rushing his security who appeared in open Court and acknowledged the due execution of their bond in the penal sum of Seventy five dollars conditioned as the law directs.
On Motion it is ordered by the Court that James Prince b appointed overseer
of the road to work form the forks of the road at the corner of A. Lashlee’s field to John M. Brownings’s.

On Motion it is ordered by the Court that William Akers, James Lindsey and Joseph Wetherly be appointed Commissioners to lay off and set apart a suffieciency of provisions to serve the widow and family of Elisha Jackson one year and to Make report to the next term of this Court.
On Motion of Sarah Jackson and A.W.C. Matheny
who made oath according to law, and together with them Williams Akers, James
Lindsey and Robert Jackson their securities who appeared in open Court and
entered into and acknowledged the due execution of their bonds in the penal sum
of Sixteen hundred dollars conditioned as the law directs. It is therefore ordered by the Court that
they have letters of Administration upon the estate of Elisha
Jackson deceased to be Made out in due form of law when required.
Personally appeared in open Court Susan Barns
formerly Susan Wyatt and the due execution of the last will and testament of
James Wyatt proven by her as one of the subscribing witnesses to the same A.C. Presson the other witness thereto having testified at a
former term of this Court. It is
therefore ordered by the Court that said is released.

was this day appointed guardian of the Minor heirs of Jose C. Melton deceased
and together with him W.R. Pearce and Joseph Alsop
his securities who appeared in open Court and acknowledged the due execution of
their bond I the penal sum of Three hundred dollars conditioned as the law
directs.
On Motion it is ordered by the Court that
E.F. Wills be appointed overseer of the road to work from the foot of the hill
to Wills’ Ferry, hands as follows; John L. Morgan’s hands Wills’ hands shall
work under said E.F. Wills on said road which is established in the 2nd
Class.
On Motion it is ordered by the Court that
John Russell be appointed overseer of the Wills road to work from the forks of
the road to the foot of the hill, hands as follows; John M. Petty, John
Thornton, Jesse Martin, John Russell, Henry Martin, Daniel Ingland,
William Cole and John Davis and all other hands in the bounds shall work under said Russell on said
road which is established in the 2nd Class.
On Motion it is ordered by the Court that
John Russell be appointed overseer of the Wills road to work from the forks of
the road to the foot of the hill, hands as follows; John M. Petty, John
Thornton, Jesse Martin, John Russell, Henry Martin, Daniel Ingland,
William Cole and John Davis and all other hands in the bounds shall work under
said Russell on said road which is established in the 2nd Class.
On Motion it is ordered by the Court that
Mathew Presson be appointed overseer of the stage
road to work from the 2 Mile tree to the 13 Mile tree, hands as follows;
William Presson, James Cowell,
Joseph Cowell, Jr., James Presson,
William Thompson, William Russell, John Davenport, Alexander Wiseman, Milton
Wiseman, James Johnson, Joel Johnson shall work under said M.Presson
on said road which is established in the 1st Class.
Personally appeared in open Court John Phifer and entered into bond as the law directs with the Chairman of this Court to take Two apprentice boys (to wit) Wm. L. Blanks 13 years of age and John M. Blanks 11 years of age and agrees to teach the said children the art and mystery of a farmer and to teach them Reading, Writing and Arithmetic as far as to understand the rule of three and when they arrive at full age to give each of them a good suit of Jeans Clothes and each of them a good horse, saddle and bridle, with Edmund Brewer as his security & C.
