Typhoid Fatal To Arthur Adcock

Arthur Erwin Adcok died Friday at the Bedford County hospital, after a twoweek's illness of typhoid fever.

Mr. Adcock was a farmer of the North Fork communtiy and his death was a shock to neighbors and friends.

The remains were conveyed to Bethel, in Rutherford County, where the funeral and burial took place.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Fanie Jordan Adcock and eight children (not named).

H. B. Carlisle

H. B. Carlisle, a native of Beach Grove, but for may years a well known business man of Plano, Texas, died at his home last Friday morning a short time after he had been stricken at his place of business. 

He was a brother of Mrs. Will Ashley of this place.

Mrs. M. K. Nance (Mrs. M. K. Snell Nance)

Mrs. M. K. Nance died last Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jesse Moore, after a long illness.

Funeral services were conducted at the home of Mrs. Moore Saturday. Rev. N.B. Tucker of Nashville assisted by Rev. Edgar Couser, officiated. The remains were laid to rest in the Russell graveyard. She is survived by three children, Mrs. Jesse Moore, Belfast; Mrs. Carney Thomas, Akron, Ohio, and Vance Nance of Shelbyville. Three brothers, Dr. A. F. Snell, Jim Snell and Charley Snell. Mrs. Vance was a member of the Knight's Camp Ground, M.E. church.
