I, Almon Cannon,&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\">and my two sons, John L. Cannon and Zacariah T. Cannon own in common as&nbsp;deed will show, two hundred and twenty six acres of land in 23rd civill&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\">district of Bedford County, Tennessee on which we now reside. Now in&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\">consideration of the love and respect I have for my wife, Eleanor&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\">Cannon, I will and bequeath to her all my right, title and claim that I&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\">have in said land her lifetime provided she outlives me. I also will and&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\">bequeath to the said Eleanor Cannon one third of all the personal&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\">property that may be on hand at my death, one third as above being&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\">considered my share in said personal property conditioned that the said&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\">Eleanor Cannon outlives me as before stated as to real estate and&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\">furthermore I will and bequeath my sons, John L. Cannon and Zacariah T.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\">Cannon aforesaid after my wife Eleanor Cannon&#8217;s death, if they should&nbsp;outlive her, all of the said real estate interest bequeathed to her to&nbsp;be equally divided between them. I have still other children that I wish&nbsp;to remember in my last will and testament, to wit: Rachel E. Prince,&nbsp;William W. Cannon, Jane Cannon, Samuel S. Cannon, James J. Cannon, Nancy<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\">Cannon, Wiley G. Cannon, and Minnie F. Reed. Now I will and bequeath to said eight children last named the sum of five dollars each to be paid by my sons, John L. Cannon and Zacariah T. Cannon after the death of Eleanor Cannon, their mother. Now Rachel E. Price (sic) and William<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\">Cannon are dead, and as to them the five dollars will be paid pro rata to their children. Singleton, Clerk of the County Court of said county hereby&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\">certify that the above and foregoing is a full true and perfect copy of&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\">the last will and testament of Almon Cannon, deceased, as proven and&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\">admitted to record in said court at the August term 1897 as appears of&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\">record on the minutes of said court and from the original will now on&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\">file in my office.
