Taylor–Grayson Co, TX; Cocke Co Tennessee; Benton Co Arkansas; KY. William Nathanial Taylor, born April 23, 1882 in Cocke Co TN. Married Bertha Grammer in Grayson CO, TX. Seeking information on ancestors/decendents of Hugh and Diana Taylor. Diana was the daughter of Lidge Lewis of KY(?). Their son, Dan or Daniel Taylor, was a circuit preacher. He disappeared around 1882/84, probably Cocke Co, TN. Believed to have drowned. Neither he nor his horse were found, but his song book and bible were found. Dan was married to Sarah Nease and they had two children–William Nathanial and Thomas Andrew Taylor. After Dan died, Sarah married Tom Stevens. Because Sarah and Tom could not afford to raise her two children and his children, William and Thomas were sent to live with relatives. No information on those relatives. Thomas Andrew Taylar had 1 child by his first wife, and two children by his second wife: Buella and Irving (or Erving). William and Bertha Ann had eleven children. This inquiry is being made by one of their children, Francis.

Earnie R. Breeding Sun Aug 4 20:11:52 1996
My Ancestor, Mason Breeding, moved from Buncome Co. NC to Bedfoed Co, TN about 1808. His father Samuel Breeding Deeded “All my worldly possessions” to my beloved son Mason in 1815. This was apparently a poor man’s will. Mason relocated to Morgan Co., Alabama sometimes later. He had been granted land in what was later Morgan Co. Alabama in 1815 and again in 1819. Both these transfers were recorded at the Huntsville land office. I need any info on Mason’s marriage to Talitha (Winton) ?, Samuel’s death, apparently about 1815, and Samuel’s wife. I do know that Mason was a Volunteer in 1815 for a period of three months. I suspect that he had several brothers and sisters. Any info on these?
