Need descendants of Dave Womack and Elizabeth/Betsy Womack who weresupposed to be cousins. Some of issue:Charles, Andrew Jackson,Alexander and William R. Possibly 2 or 3 females.Think I have found Elizabeth and her sons in Scott Co. AR. Fate ofDave unknown. Why didn’t they go with other Womacks to Pike Co. AR? I am trying to find information about the military service of myGreat Great Grandfather, James Raiford MUSGRAVE who served as aConfederate soldier from Tennessee. He lived in or around BedfordCounty but I do not know whether he enlisted in that county. I haveseen a listing for a James R. Musgrove, in the 32nd Infantry, fromBedford County, and believe this might be him with a misspelling ofhis last name. He was the son of Raiford Richard Musgrave andElizabeth Stallings. I have been told that he fought at Chickamaugaand at Shiloh and was captured at Ft. Donelson. He moved to FranklinCounty, Illinois after the war and married Isabelle Mount in Cairo,Illinois and had 6 children: Andrew, Lola, Charles, Margaret, Luna,and Bessie. The SSDI lists aJasper Crosslin born February 9, 1885 and died January 15, 1968 whichmight possibly be a relation. This Jasper Crosslin’s last residenceis listed as Bell Buckle, Bedford, TN 37020. . My great grandmother,Mary “Mollie” Jane Crosslin Clark was the sister of Jasper S.Crosslin born in 1845.
