Bk EE, pgs 15,16,17,18,19 (this is page 15/16 the others say the same thing just the other two slaves were given out. There are blanks where I couldn’t read the words or words. Oct. 11 1834 ______Michael Moore, Henry Moore, Samuel Moore, Charles R. Moore, David R. Moore, Mary Moore, Elizabeth Moore, Margaret Moore, Benjamin Delk, wife Martha, formerly Martha Moore. Heirs and distributors of Henry Moore, dec. of Bedford Co, State of Tn., do by mutual agreement on the 6th day of Feb. 1834 choose Samuel Brulch, Soloman Durrete, John Anthony, Joel Yewell and Abner Jones as commissioners to divide and make portion among the heirs and distributors of the estate which deemed to them from said Henry Moore,Dec., consisting of land, negros and other property was divided by our commissioners chosen as above into nine different lots and whereas said heirs and distributers______said division was made_____ draw each for one of said nine lotsand whereas Charles R. Moore drew a negro boy named about 12 years old being one of said nine lots. Now______know all men by their presence that we _____Mary Moore, Samuel Moore and Henry Moore of Lincoln Co. Tn, Michael Moore, David R. Moore, Elizabeth Moore, Benjamin Delk, wife Martha, Margaret Moore for and in consideration of one dollar to us in hand by the owed Charles R. Moorethe receipt where of is duly acknowledged and in consideration of the promise aforesaid____bargain hold and deliver and do by these present bargain sell and deliver to the said Charles R. Moore the aforesaid negro names Joseph to have and to hold to the said Charles R. Moore, his heirs, executors, administrators forever and in warrant and defend the____said negro boy names Joseph to the ____of all and any persons whatever.
Lets set our hands and seals this 11 Aug 1834.
