Ex-employee of school dies at 70<\/strong>.\u00a0 A former cafeteria worker at Briceville\u00a0Elementary School, Mrs. Eva Smiddy\u00a0Brown, 70, Briceville, died Thursday of heart failure at Lake City Hospital.<\/p>\n Mrs. Brown worked in the school for 10 years prior to an earlier heart attack.<\/p>\n She was a member of the Laurel Branch Baptist Church and enjoyed working as a member of the Home Demonstration Club, particularly in the areas of needle work and ceramics.<\/p>\n She is survived by her husband, Charlie C. Brown; two sons, Ray Brown, Briceville\u00a0and Buford Brown, Augusta, Ga; three daughters Mrs. Helen McMahan\u00a0and Mrs. Violet Williams, both of Briceville, Mrs. Irene Jones of Lake City; 25 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.<\/p>\n Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at Laurel Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. Edwin Phillips, the Rev. Moss Beets and the Rev.
