Onelda Walters, 82, of Clinton died Thursday, May 16, 1996, in Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center.<\/p>\n
Mrs. Walters was a member of Clinton First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leeper Carter Lockett and Lily Braden.<\/p>\n
Survivors are her husband, Fletcher Walters of Clinton; daughter, Judy Rhyne of Clinton; grandchildren, Dru and Teresa Rhyne of Tazewell, Shane Rhyne of Clinton and Nikole and Kirk Larsen of Hillsboro, OR; great-grandchildren, Holly Rhyne, Tre Rhyne, both of Clinton and Michelle Noe of Tazewell; sisters, Wanda Brown and Rosel L. May of Oak Ridge; a special sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Mary and Glen Taylor of Clinton; brother-in-law, Herbert Walters of Solana Beach, CA; and several nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n
Memorials may be made to Arthritis Foundation, 1104 Merchants Road, Suite 102, Knoxville, TN 37912.<\/p>\n
Graveside services are 2 pm Sunday, May 19, 1996 in Sunset Cemetery. Friends may call at their convenience in Holley-Gamble Funeral Home.<\/p>\n
