Joanne Yount, 65, of Alexandria, VA, died Saturday at Alexandria Hospital in Alexandria.<\/p>\n

A native of Lee County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Evelyn Henson and James P. Yount.<\/p>\n

She was a former resident of the Blowing Springs community near Clinton and in the 1960s had been employed at the Bank of Oak Ridge.<\/p>\n

After moving to Alexandria, she worked as a naval investigator at the Center for Naval Analysis.<\/p>\n

Miss Yount was a member of Sunset Hills Baptist Church in Alexandria.<\/p>\n

Survivors include three brothers, James A. Yount of Oak Ridge; Robert Lynn Yount of Alexandria, VA, and Harold H. Yount of Maryville; and several nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n

Services were held Tuesday afternoon at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Doug Jewell officiating. Burial was in Sunset Cemetery.<\/p>\n
