James Kenneth Yates, 72, formerly of South Clinton, died Friday at the Veteran\u2019s Hospital in Murfreesboro.<\/p>\n
Mr. Yates was a member of South Clinton Baptist Church.<\/p>\n
A veteran of the Air Force, he had also worked as a lineman with Clinton Utilities Board several years ago. He was born in Knox County.<\/p>\n
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Don and Rhonda Yates of Heiskell; Ron and Margaret Yates of Clinton; grandson, James K. Yates of Clinton; granddaughters, Tara Ranie Yates Ford of Oak Ridge; sister, Ruth Cooper of Powell; several nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n
Services were held Monday night at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Raymond Sanderson officiating. Burial was Tuesday morning at Tennessee Valley Memory Gardens.<\/p>\n
