Nell McGhee Austin of Lake City died Jan. 6 at her home.<\/p>\n

A native of Briceville, she was a homemaker. Mrs. Austin was affiliated with the Baptist church.<\/p>\n

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alonzo Austin and parents, John Richard and Ida Webb McGhee.<\/p>\n

Survivors include a sister, Bertha Brummitt of Knoxville and several nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n

Funeral services were Monday in the chapel of Martin Funeral Home in Lake City with the Rev. Johnny Owens officiating. Burial was in the Methodist Cemetery.<\/p>\n
