Georgia Strong Ausmus, age 71, passed away at her residence Thursday, Sept. 4, 1997.<\/p>\n

She was a member of Island Ford Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by husband, Daniel Ausmus, and parents, Hugh and Effie Strong.<\/p>\n

Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, John and Dorothy Ausmus of Andersonville; daughters, Diana Ausmus of Andersonville and Frances R. Loving of Andersonville; granddaughters, Melissa Loving and Laura Burd; great-grandchildren, Tristan Loving, Zachary Burd and Mariah Burd; sister, Margaret Goode of LaFollette; and many nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n

Visitation was 6-8 pm Sunday, Sept. 7, in Cox-Martin Funeral Home.<\/p>\n

Funeral service was 2 pm Monday, Sept. 8, in Cox-Martin Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Harness and Rev. Steve Speed officiating.<\/p>\n

Interment was Monday, Sept. 8, in Oak Ridge Memorial Park.<\/p>\n
