Johnny Aslinger, age 32, of Lake City passed away Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2002 at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.<\/p>\n

He was born Oct. 2, 1969 in Bellview, OH.<\/p>\n

He was of the Church of God faith. Johnny loved racing cars on the dirt track.<\/p>\n

He was preceded in death by his mother; Lona Aslinger.<\/p>\n

Survivors: father, Paul Aslinger of Lake City; daughter, Paula Aslinger of Sunbright; brothers, Otis Kevin Aslinger and Harold Dean Aslinger both of Lake City; nephews, Cody Aslinger of Raccoon Valley, Dillion Aslinger of Vasper; many special friends.<\/p>\n

Visitation was 6-8 pm Friday, Jan. 11, 2002 at Cox-Martin Funeral Home. Funeral service followed at 8 pm, Friday, Jan. 11, 2002 in the Cox-Martin Chapel with Brother Arthur Bragg and the Rev. Jimmy Seiber officiating.<\/p>\n

Interment was at 11 am Saturday, Jan. 12, 2002 at the Mountain View Cemetery in Lake City.<\/p>\n

Cox-Martin Funeral Home of Lake City in charge of arrangements.<\/p>\n
