Obituary of Everette Carden, 2000:<\/h2>\n

Everette “Duke” Carden, age 79, of Heiskell, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at his residence.<\/p>\n

He was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Powell and a veteran of the United States Navy having served in World War II.<\/p>\n

Survived by: Wife, Dorothy Carden; Daughters, Robin & husband Jeff Vitelli, Tracy & husband Larry Nicely, Kim & husband Ricky Humphrey; Grandchildren, Tara, Joy, Ben & Lori, Tommy & Christy, Daniel & Christy, Nicky, Kelly, Daniel, Jillian, Bradley, Jonathan, and Anna; Great-Grandchildren, Kayla & Andrew; Brother, Bobby Joe Carden & wife Mary Nell; Sister, Margaret Carden.<\/p>\n

The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday, March 31, 2006 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with funeral services following in the chapel with Pastor Clarence Sexton officiating.<\/p>\n

His burial will be 10:00 AM, Saturday at Norris Memorial Garden.<\/p>\n

Pallbearers will be Ben Nicely, Tommy Humphrey, Nicky Humphrey, Daniel Nicely, Daniel Dent, and Kerry Thames.<\/p>\n

In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials be made to Crown College, P.O. Box 159, Powell, TN. 37849.<\/p>\n

Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements.<\/p>\n
