DIED:\u00a0 Mayor D. R. Coward\u2019s only son, Tommy, died yesterday after a lingering and painful attack of meningitis.\u00a0 His death was momentarily expected for several days although every effort was made by the attending physician to save the little boy\u2019s life.\u00a0 His death occurred at 1 P.M.\u00a0 Rev. Mr. Neal officiated at funeral exercises, which took place at 10 o\u2019clock today.\u00a0 The bereaved parents have the hearty sympathy of the community.<\/p>\n
