Audrey Mae (Mrs. Audrey) Sharp, 80, a retired school teacher died Monday at Lake City Health Care Center. Her home was on Andersonville Highway (State 61) in Andersonville.<\/p>\n
Sharp attended Tennessee Wesleyan College and was graduated from the University of Tennessee. She taught 34 years at Andersonville Elementary School and two years at Glen Alpine Elementary.<\/p>\n
An Anderson County native, she was born July 19, 1912 to the late Michael and Laura M. Snoderly\u00a0Lambdin.<\/p>\n
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Lester, Walter, Arthur and Charles Lambdin.<\/p>\n
The funeral was Wednesday at Holley- Gamble Funeral Home chapel in Clinton with the Rev. Debra Watson officiating. Burial was in Andersonville Cemetery.<\/p>\n
She leaves her husband, Fred Sharp, and a sister, Jennie Lee Craig of Andersonville.<\/p>\n
Holley-Gamble Funeral Home, Clinton, was in charge of arrangements.<\/p>\n
