Desiree Rhea Mitchell Infant daughter of Oliver Springs resident<\/strong><\/p>\n Desiree Rhea Mitchell, infant daughter of Rodney Douglas Mitchell ofOliverSprings, died Thursday, April 3, 2003, at East Tennessee Children’s Hospital inKnoxville.<\/p>\n Her mother, Amanda Sue Rhea, died Tuesday, April 1, 2003, atFortSandersRegionalMedicalCenterinKnoxville.<\/p>\n In addition to her father, Desiree is survived by her sister, Destiny Rhea of Oliver Springs; her paternal grandmother, Pam Smith of Houston, Texas; her paternal great-grandparents, Hence and Louella Mitchell and Shirley West, all of Oliver Springs; her maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Pam Daugherty of Oliver Springs; her maternal great-grandmother, Hassie Daugherty of Clinton; and by several aunts and uncles.<\/p>\n The funeral was held Friday, April 4, 2003, in the chapel of Sharp Funeral Home inOliverSpringswith the Rev. Curtis Nolan officiating.
