Clarence Conrad Sanders, 83, of Heiskell\u00a0Rt. 1, died June 13 at Mountain View Nursing Home in La Follette.<\/p>\n
A native of Anderson County, his parents were the late Henry and Almeda\u00a0Foust Sanders.<\/p>\n
Mr. Sanders was of the Baptist faith. He was retired from White Plumbing Company.<\/p>\n
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Sanders, daughter, Norma Williams; grandsons, Ronnie Archer and Joe Rymer; a great-grandson, Kelvin Cooke; brothers and sisters, Willie, Charlie, Earmel, Elsie, Rhoda and Clara.<\/p>\n
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Beulah and Joe Dax of Heiskell; Revana\u00a0and Carson Archer of Heiskell; Jessie and Alonzo McGill of Heiskell; Genevieve Rymer\u00a0of Knoxville; Edene and Donald Hutson of Norris; a brother, Grover Sanders of MI; 18 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n
Services were Monday at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church on Hickory Valley Road. The Rev. Vaughn Richardson officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home was in charge.<\/p>\n
