Death takes county woman on Saturday<\/strong>.\u00a0 Mrs. Adelaide A. Gregory, 73, longtime resident of Oliver Springs Rt. 3, died at 1:10 a.m. Saturday in Oak Ridge Hospital.\u00a0 She suffered from cancer and had been in the hospital for some time.<\/p>\n Mrs. Gregory was a native of Graham County, N. C.\u00a0 She and her late husband, Lee Gregory, owned a farm on Mahoney Rd., Oliver Springs Rt.3, for many years.\u00a0 He died in 1965 and was retired from the K-25 plant in Oak Ridge.<\/p>\n Mrs. Gregory had been staying with Mrs. Frances Long of Oliver Springs Rt.3 since Feb. 1.<\/p>\n She leaves two sisters, Mrs. Flora Ayers of Robbinsville, N. C. and Mrs. Alice Cook of Lincolnton, N. C.; one brother, John Cooper of Robbinsville.<\/p>\n Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Sharp Funeral Home in Oliver Springs.\u00a0 Burial was in Anderson Memorial gardens.<\/p>\n Clinton Courier-News<\/em>, May 3, 1974<\/p>\n [Transcribed by Stephanie A.
