Imogene Summers Allen, 70, of Clinton, died Wednesday in Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.<\/p>\n
The daughter of Loransey\u00a0D. and Sarah Barnard Summers, she was born July 4, 1924, in Arjay, KY. A homemaker, Mrs. Allen was a member of Clinch River Baptist Church.<\/p>\n
She was preceded in death by her parents.<\/p>\n
Survivors include her husband, Julian R. Allen of Clinton; daughter, Doris Stephens of Ft. Worth, TX; son, Randall Allen of Clinton; four grandchildren, Heather Jean Allen, Kenneth Stephens, Eddie Stephens and Janice Stephens; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Doyle Summers of Clinton, Arvile\u00a0Summers of Baltimore, MD; and Charles E. Summers of Springhill, LA; sister, Annis Ridenour of Clinton; and several nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n
Funeral service will be 8:30 pm Thursday in Holley-Gamble Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Tom Byrge officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Garden.<\/p>\n
Family will receive friends 8:30 pm Thursday.<\/p>\n
