Lorene\u00a0Justice Adcock, age 79, a resident of Coalfield, passed away Monday, April 19, 1996, at her home.<\/p>\n
Mrs. Adcock\u00a0was preceded in death by her parents, Bert and Lou Rogers Justice; three brothers, Clifford, Hugh, and Oscar Justice; and a daughter-in-law, Helen Adcock.<\/p>\n
Survivors: husband of 62 years, Blaine \u201cToop\u201d Adcock\u00a0of Coalfield; sons, Sammy Adcock\u00a0of Coalfield, Ross Adcock\u00a0and wife Shirley of Clinton, Danny Adcock\u00a0and wife Louise of Coalfield, and Dale Adcock and wife Laureen\u00a0of Coalfield; daughters, Linda Hensley and husband Jimmy of Harriman, JoAnn Chapman of Coalfield, and Gail Massengill\u00a0and husband Gary of Petros; grandchildren, Greg Adcock, Sammy Chapman Jr., Doug Hensley, Duane Adcock, Jason Massengill\u00a0and Jessica Massengill; sisters, Laura Childs of Coalfield and Clara Belle Falagaro of New Hampshire; and several nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n
Mrs. Adcock\u00a0was born April 29, 1919, in Coalfield. She was a lifelong resident of Coalfield. She was a member of Kellytown Baptist Church in Oliver Springs. She worked at the Coalfield School before retirement.<\/p>\n
The family received friends from 6-8:30 pm Tuesday, April 20, at Sharp Funeral Home in Oliver Springs. Funeral services followed in the chapel with the Rev. Tommy Hensley and Pastor Garvin Walls officiating.<\/p>\n
Burial and graveside services were 11 am Wednesday, April 21, in Estes Cemetery.<\/p>\n
Sharp Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.<\/p>\n
