Lillian Mae Ingram, 85, of Bon Terre, Mo., died in the home of her son and daughter-in-law in Clinton.<\/p>\n
The daughter of James E. and Leora Kidd Stewart, she was born April 22, 1909, in Bon Terre, Mo., on of seven daughters.<\/p>\n
Mrs. Ingram enjoyed sewing and handiwork. She worked for newspapers in Bon Terre and later with Lead Belt News in Flat River, Mo. She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church in Bon Terre. She and her husband, Vernon D. Ingram, moved to Clinton in December of 1987 to be near their family.<\/p>\n
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Vernon D. Ingram in 1992; her parents; sisters, Dorothy Cole and Ruth Manwarring; and brothers-in-law, Herschell Ketcherside, Al Lesser, W.D. Manwarring and D.J. Cole.<\/p>\n
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Gene and Mary McClanahan of Clinton; granddaughter and spouse, Janie Jennings and Jennifer and Michael Fraker; great-grandchildren, Ashlee Eason, Adam Jennings and Lauren and Caroline Fraker, all of Clinton; sisters, Georgia Lesser and Bonnie Ketcherside of Bon Terre, Hilda Rawlins of Sullivan, Mo., Juanita and A.W. Mitchner of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; and several Nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.<\/p>\n
Also surviving are stepgrandsons and their wives, Jerry and Debbie McClanahan of Chattanooga, Steve and Julia McClanahan, Rodney McClanahan and Jim and Traci McClanahan, all of Oak Ridge; and step-great-grandchildren, Lindsey McClanahan, Justin and Eric McClanahan and David McClanahan, all of Oak Ridge.<\/p>\n
Funeral service was Tuesday in Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with the Rev. Samuel Dean officiating. Burial was in Oak Ridge Memorial Park.<\/p>\n
The family requests memorials be made to First Baptist Church, music anthems, in Clinton.<\/p>\n
