Gladys Elizabeth Iker, 86, of Clinton, died Thursday in Oak Ridge Health Care Center.<\/p>\n
The daughter of Levi and Victoria Berth Weaver, she was born April 12, 1909, in Clinton. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church.<\/p>\n
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, George E. Iker.<\/p>\n
Survivors include son, Samuel Hamilton of Knoxville; grandchildren, Samuel Hamilton Jr., Elizabeth Ann Timberlake and Vickie Taylor; nine great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Alfonza Weaver and Hun Weaver, both of Clinton; and several nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n
Funeral service will be 4 pm Sunday in Asbury United Methodist Church with the Rev. James Gethrie and the Rev. Jack Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Garden, Clinton.<\/p>\n
Family will receive friends 3-4 pm Sunday.<\/p>\n
