{"id":1853,"date":"2011-09-13T11:54:54","date_gmt":"2011-09-13T06:54:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tngenweb.org\/anderson\/?p=1853"},"modified":"2017-06-09T16:31:46","modified_gmt":"2017-06-09T21:31:46","slug":"obituary-queener-minnie-1992","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tngenweb.org\/andersoncounty\/2011\/09\/obituary-queener-minnie-1992\/","title":{"rendered":"Obituary &#8211; Queener, Minnie, 1992"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Obituary of Minnie Queener, 1992:<\/h2>\n<p>Minnie Queener, 77, of Holyoke, Mass., formally of Lake City, died Jan. 17 at her home.<\/p>\n<p>She was a retired hosiery knitter\u00a0for Neeble Mills in North Carolina.<\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Queener was a native of Lancaster, S.C., and a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Springfield, Mass.<\/p>\n<p>Her parents were the late Isaac and Alice Chent\u00a0Whitley, Her husband, Robert Queener, died in 1970.<\/p>\n<p>Survivors include two brothers, Henry Eugene Whitley of Lancaster, S.C., and Walter Whitley of Hemet, Calif.; four sisters, Julia Bush of Emerald Isle, N.C.; Loma Pressley\u00a0of Charlotte, N.C.; Cornelia Cauthen of Lancaster, S.C., and Lima Knight of Charleston, S.C.; and several nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n<p>Graveside services were held Wednesday (today) at Tennessee Valley Memory Gardens with the Rev. Tom Byrge officiating.
