Freddie Mae Queener, 83, of Clinton, died Friday in her residence.<\/p>\n
Mrs. Queener and her husband, Ervin, owned and operated Queener Flower Shop in Clinton for many years.<\/p>\n
She was a member of Clinton First Baptist Church, where she previously taught Sunday school and was a member of the Adult choir. She also was a member of Clinton Business and Professional Women’s Club, Clinton Community Chorus, Clinton Timely Topics and Chamber of Commerce.<\/p>\n
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fredrick and Lena Hendricks Norman; husband, Ervin Queener; and brothers, Jim and Mark Norman.<\/p>\n
Survivors include sisters, Edith Beeler and Danna Curnutt of Clinton; close friend who was like a son, Garney Jr. and wife, Carolyn Scott of Nashville; several nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n
Funeral services was Saturday in Clinton First Baptist Church with the Rev. Sam Dean officiating. Burial was in Sunset Cemetery, Clinton.<\/p>\n
Memorials may be made to Clinton First Baptist Church.<\/p>\n
Holley-Gamble Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.<\/p>\n
