Brickey Grant\u2019s wife is dead in Arizona.\u00a0 Mrs. Peggy Siler Grant, 52, wife of Wheeler (Brickey) Grant, formerly of Clinton, died of cancer last Thursday in Tucson, Ariz.<\/p>\n
The Grants had resided in Tucson since World War II.\u00a0 Mrs. Grant was a native of Baton Rouge, La.\u00a0 and taught school.<\/p>\n
Her husband was reared in Clinton and is the nephew of Riley C. Cooper of South Clinton.\u00a0 He operated a dental laboratory in Tucson for a while and is presently working for the federal government there.<\/p>\n
Mrs. Grant is survived by a son, Gilmer Grant of Phoenix, and a daughter, Miss Gay Grant of Tucson.<\/p>\n
Services were held Saturday in Tucson.\u00a0 Mrs. Robert L. May of Powell, Mr. Grant\u2019s sister, attended the funeral.<\/p>\n
