Hill]<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<h2>Kinza Johnson<\/h2>\n<p>Kinza Johnson, b. approximately 1770, d. 1844. Married Sarah &#8212;&#8211;, b. 1772, d. 1864. Revolutionary War soldier. First register of deeds of Anderson County. Born in Maryland. One of the Commissioners to fix the county seat, 1801.<\/p>\n<p>(Anderson County Court Minutes, December 16, 1801; Penelope Johnson Allen, &#8220;Tennessee Soldiers in the Revolution&#8221;; Roulstone, &#8220;Laws&#8221;, 275.)<\/p>\n<p>His name appears in many Anderson County deeds as one of the Commissioners which sold lots in the new county seat. Probably buried in or near Johnson&#8217;s graveyard in Dutch Valley of Anderson County. Sold his land on Flatt Creek (now Knox County) in 1788 to Edward Freels. Bought 640 acres from Stockley Donelson in Anderson County in 1797.
