Roxie Bunch Patterson, 74 of Dalton, GA died Thursday in her home.<\/p>\n
The daughter of Harrison and Rachel Daugherty Bunch, she was born Feb. 25, 1921 in Anderson County. Mrs. Patterson enjoyed making quilts. She was of the Baptist faith.<\/p>\n
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Patterson in 1983; son, Rexie Patterson; daughters, Wanda Lou Patterson and Roxie Patterson; and grandsons, Stacey Lee Patterson and Rexie Wayne Patterson.<\/p>\n
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Greefus and Darlene Patterson, Layton and Reba Patterson and David and Debbie Patterson, all of Dalton, GA; sons, Daniel Patterson and Jerry Patterson, both of Dalton, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Jeff Gowens of Dalton, GA; 18 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and sister, Delia Patterson of Briceville.<\/p>\n
Funeral service was Saturday in Cox Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Oscar Patterson officiating. Burial followed in Patterson Cemetery, New River.<\/p>\n
