Leona Patterson, 84, of Oliver Springs died Thursday at the Methodist Medical Center. She was born April 16, 1908.<\/p>\n
She was a member of Beech Park Baptist Church, Oliver Springs, and was preceded in death by husband, Ottie Patterson in 1976 and daughter, Margie Ledbetter in 1989.<\/p>\n
Survivors include daughters: Virgie Patterson of Oliver Springs; Mrs. Raymond (Mary) Stubbs of Oak Ridge; four sons, Buford Patterson of Lake City, FL; Ottie Patterson, Jr. of Smyrna, GA; Lonzie Patterson of Powell and Jimmy Patterson of Knoxville; special grandchildren are Rick Silvis of Ft. Walton Beach, FL and Mrs. Tim (Carla) McGhee of Oliver Springs; 14 other grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.<\/p>\n
Funeral services were Saturday at Beech Park Baptist Church in Oliver Springs with the Rev. Howard Hannah and the Rev. Gary Smith officiating.<\/p>\n
Burial will be in Oliver Springs Cemetery at 2 pm Sunday. Sharp Funeral Home, Oliver Springs, is in charge of arrangements.<\/p>\n
