Foster, 1994:<\/h2>\n<p>Arlie M. Foster, 82, formerly of Mountain Road, Clinton, died Tuesday night in the Knoxville Health Care Center.<\/p>\n<p>He was born Nov. 11, 1911 in Anderson County and was the last surviving child of 10 children born to the late Joshua and Anne Brooks Foster.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Foster was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.<\/p>\n<p>He was a well known area farmer who loved to play checkers and attending string music sings.<\/p>\n<p>He is survived by several nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n<p>Funeral services were Thursday night in Holley-Gamble Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Robert Burns officiating.
