Mary Kay Brown Yates, age 57, of Clinton, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2000, at Methodist Medical Center.
She was born July 29, 1942.
She was a member of South Clinton Baptist Church. She retired after 22 years of service from Lockheed-Martin in Oak Ridge at the K-25 Plant, where she worked in the Operations Division.
Preceded in death by: Parents, Bob and Irene Hutton.
Survivors: Sons, Billy Brown and wife, Vetta of Clinton; daughter, Tara Ford and husband, Dennis of Clinton; sisters, Estel and husband, Bobby Nelson of Clinton, Carolyn Brinkyark and husband John of Lake City; brother, Karl Hutton and wife Gena of Caryville; grandchildren, Joanna Brown, William Brown, Kayla Ford and Ralynn Ford; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends; special nephew, Jack and Brenda Taylor of Lake City; special friends, Mike Seivers and family.
The family received friends 7-9 pm Thursday, March 16, 2000, at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service was held 11 am Friday, March 17, 2000, in the chapel with the Rev. Archie Nelson officiating. Interment followed the service at McCarty-Woodhaven Memory Gardens in Claxton.
