Harry Wells, owner of a local plumbng and electrical concern, died in a Knoxville hosital last Thursday night. He had been a resident of Clinton for about 25 years, and was a member of the First Baptist Church here. He is survived by his wife, son, Alvin Ray Wells, step-daughter, Mrs. Bob Farmer, of Clinton; father, Horace Wells of Lexington, KY; two sisters, Mrs Bessie Rash and Mrs Ruby Landrum of Lexington, KY. Services were held Saturday at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul Turner officiating. Burial was in Sunset Cemetery with Holley’s in Clinton, in charge.
