Parents Hold Child’s Nose, Pill goes into Windpipe, Bringing About His Death
Little Charles Ray, 3, didn’t want to take his medicine, a pill, and now he is dead.
To make him well, his parents insisted on his taking the pill. When he refused, they held his nose. The pill went into his windpipe and Charles died of strangulation.
He was the only child of Mr. and Mrs. John Ray of Coal Creek.
This happened earlier this month. Funeral services were held at Clear Branch Church with the Rev. T. H. Roark officiating. Weaver Funeral Home was in charge.
