Daniel Ausmus, 68, of Andersonville passed away Sunday, April 6, 1997 in his home.
He was born Aug. 19, 1928 in Campbell County to Clivie and Flossie Powers Ausmus.
Survivors: wife, Georgia Ausmus of Andersonville; son, John Ausmus, and daughter-in-law, Dorothy Ausmus; daughters, Diana Ausmus of Andersonville and Frances R. Loving of Lake City; granddaughters, Melissa Loving of Lake City, and Laura Burd and husband, Steven of Atlanta; great-grandchildren, Tristin Loving of Lake City and Zackery Burd of Atlanta; mother, Flossie Ellison of Andersonville; special friends, Bill Chapman of Lake City, Ronnie Whitson of Clinton and Bazel Powers of Lake City.
Friends may call between the hours of 6-8 pm Wednesday, April 9 at Cox-Martin Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held 8 pm Wednesday, April 9, in Cox-Martin Chapel with the rev. Steve Speed officiating.
Interment is 11 am Thursday, April 10, in Oak Ridge Memorial Park.
Cox-Martin Funeral Home of Lake City in charge of all arrangements.
