J. B. Aslinger, 50, of Pine Circle, Clinton Rt. 5, Marlow community, died early Sunday morning at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.
He was born in Anderson County to the late Doc Gordon and Flora Aslinger.
Mr. Aslinger was a former coal miner. He enjoyed gardening and music as pastimes.
Survivors include a sister, Lorene Aslinger of Oliver Springs; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Hope Aslinger of Batley community, Estell and Catherine Aslinger of Oliver Springs, Robert and Thelma Aslinger and James (Edward) and Ruby Aslinger, both of Windrock; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were Tuesday in the chapel of Sharp Funeral Home in Oliver Springs with the Rev. Hoye Bunch officiating. Burial was at Butler Cemetery.
