Obituary – Robert Clantz Baker, 1912
Anderson County News, August 24, 1912:
The little 18 months old son of Circuit Clerk W. C. Baker and wife who reside on Moore’s Ferry Road, died Sunday night of poliomyelitis, a disease prevalent with children in the east.
The funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 9:30 o’clock at the home conducted by Rev. H. M. Hawk, pastor of the M. E. Church. The remains were laid to rest in Baker Cemetery in North Clinton.
