Obituary – Mrs. Nancy Massey
Mrs. Nancy Massey, 87, died last Thursday, June 11 at the home of her son, Charlie Massey who lived a mile from Clinton. Mrs. Massey fell some time ago and suffered severely from the injury for 18 days. She was a member of the Blowing Springs Baptist Church and has been for more than 50 years. Surviving are: 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, two sons, Charlie Massey and J. C. Argubright, and one daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Currier. Funeral services were held at 10 o’clock Saturday morning at the Currier Cemetery, with buried there. The Rev. W. L. Pickering officiated. Active pallbearers were West Cox, Earnest Rutherford, Theodore Hackworth, Witt Henderson, Jean Davis and Weir Hillion. Holley Funeral Home was in charge
