The John Rice Irwin Anderson County Chapter
of the “Sons of the Revolution

Honoring our ancestors who lived in Anderson County.

In 2005, the John Rice Irwin Anderson County Chapter of the “Sons of the Revolution” complied a list of Revolutionary War soldiers who lived in Anderson County. A bronze plaque with the names was erected in front of the Anderson County Courthouse to honor these Veterans.
