The father of these boys is Thomas Clay (T.C.) Owen, founder of Eads, TN and owner of the cotton gin and general store there. Elbert lived to be 98 and died in Los Angeles, CA.

Died of T.B. on 2-05-1921. He would have been 25 on 03-21-1921

Walter Oscar Eads Private Came Home
 
Born Sept. 13, 1887, in Byhalia, MS and moved to TN  about 1891.
Edgar Lee, Elbert Dorris, Nile Randolph, Noel L and Walter Oscar are brothers.
Died of T.B., which he developed after he contracted the flu in the epidemic of 1918. I can't find his death record, but he died in 1919 and is burried in Eads, TN at the Eads cemetery.

The father of these boys is Thomas Clay (T.C.) Owen, founder of Eads, TN and owner of the cotton gin and general store there. His mother was Ida A. Smith Owen. This info is on his tombstone in the Eads Cemetery.
