(Dare) TOWNER; Scotch-English descent; educated Memphis Public Schools, Christian Brothers’ College; married Edna HELBIG June 17, 1906; member Masons, 32 degree; Knights Templar, Shriners, Elks, Royal Arcanum and Hoo Hoos; junior partner in firm Towner & Co., Memphis, Wholesale Rubber Goods and Supplies, established 1879; has been with said firm during whole business career; Secretary and Treasurer of the corporation of Towner & Co.; Democrat.
