Andersonville — LAMAR, C.M., farmer; born in Anderson Co., Tenn., Nov. 4, 1859; Dutch-French descent; son of Joseph BLAGG and Nancy (Wallace) LAMAR, the father being a teacher and merchant; also served as Deputy Sheriff of Grundy Co. Tenn., paternal grandparents, William and Polly (Sevier) LAMAR; maternal grandparents John and Elizabeth (Adkins) WALLACE; educated in the public schools of Anderson Co., Tenn.; married Lizzie Kate TILLEY 1888; member of the M.E. church, South; Democrat.
