FOWLER, William F., dentist; born Parrottsville, Tenn., Oct. 6, 1839; Irish and English descent; son of Francis T. and Jane (Maloney) FOWLER; father’s occupation physician; paternal grandparents, Thomas and Mary (Baldridge) FOWLER, maternal grandparents, Robert and Catherine (Cooper) MALONEY; educated at Greeneville, Tenn.; graduated from Greeneville, A. M., 1867 Nashville, D. D. S. 1880, M. D., 1882; married Anna E. SNAPP, Feb. 27, 1868; member I. O. O. F. Past Grand; Republican; member of 1st Tenn. Cav. U. S. A. as 1st Lieut. of Co. “A” during Civil War; has practiced denistry /sic/ for 48 years, with the exception of three years with Dental Department of University of Tenn., as a Demonstrator and Professor of Prosthetic and Clinical Denistry /sic/; member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
