Unnamed Cemetery off Rockingham Road

Located next to 364 Rockingham Road in the Boones Creek area of Washington County, TN. This cemetery contains approximately 35 to 50 graves. There were about 25 graves marked by fieldstones and many unmarked. It is located next to the old wagon road. A resident said that he had been told of a wagon train that came through the area and many of them became sick and died. The cemetery was said to be have been started at that time.

Located on the old Jim Friday farm, adjoining the Virgil Hall farm. Estimated to be 40 to 50 graves in this cemetery. No stones were found that could be read. Wright Matherly’s great-grandmother was buried here.
