Murray, and Sidney Mivet (sic – Maverick). “…..committee above named are agents for the colored persons…..” Deed notes that “…..there IS a House for Public Worship and scool (sic) purposes for the use of the colored persons…..”
The plotting of the metes and bounds called in the deed match Washington County tax parcel 082-089.00 where the cemetery now exists.
