Located at 1850 Tyner Hill, Johnson City, Tennessee at the corner of Tyner and Hill Streets. It is adjacent to the Full Gospel Holiness Church, formerly Methodist Episcopal Church, later to be Tyner’s Hill Methodist Church, later to be Grace Baptist Church.

A granddaughter of John Barnett states that her grandfather gave the land for the church and cemetery. The Washington County Cemetery List has the cemetery established in 1926 with 24 people buried there. Other individuals not related to the Barnett family are buried in marked and unmarked graves.
[Since the survey: A shopping center (Kroger’s) was built on Tyners Hill, off State of Franklin Road and , the rest of the graves were moved to Snyder’s Memorial Gardens.]

[Emma Barnett Haynes first buried at Tyners Hill. After her husband’s death (Garland Haynes), she was move to V.A. in Knoxville, TN. beside him. Probably near or before 1940. Garland was killed in a car accident on Tennessee Street in Johnson City.]
